Giving Yourself Permission to Succeed
Success isn’t just about strategy, talent, or opportunity—it starts with giving yourself permission to succeed. Too often, entrepreneurs hold themselves back, trapped in patterns that limit their potential. In my years of coaching business owners, I’ve noticed three common mindsets in entrepreneurship:
1. The Self-Saboteurs
These individuals find reasons—excuses, really—why they aren’t achieving their goals. Whether it’s fear of failure, impostor syndrome, or deeply ingrained limiting beliefs, they unconsciously create obstacles to justify why success hasn’t happened. They say things like “The market is tough” or “I’m just not lucky”, but the real issue is internal.
2. The Never-Satisfied Achievers
They chase success relentlessly, always striving for the next milestone, but no achievement is ever enough. Their thirst is unquenchable. While ambition is powerful, if you can’t appreciate what you’ve built, success becomes a treadmill rather than a destination. More money, more accolades, more growth—none of it fills the void if you can’t allow yourself to feel successful.
3. The Fulfilled Creators
This is where true freedom exists. These entrepreneurs acknowledge and appreciate what they’ve built. They don’t need more to feel successful—they choose to pursue more for the thrill of the game, not because they feel empty without it. They can grow, pivot, or stay still on their terms.
So, where do you fit? More importantly, where do you want to be? The key to stepping into abundance is giving yourself permission to succeed—to let go of self-sabotage, redefine success on your own terms, and enjoy the journey.
You don’t need to prove anything to anyone. Success is yours when you allow yourself to have it. Start with the inner work, your mindset and map to success will see you on your way to personal fulfilment.
